What Affects the Price?

Every event is a little different, so rather than a one-size-fits-all figure we quote you properly. A handful of things move the number up or down:

  • Hours — a five-hour party costs less than an all-day wedding
  • Type of event — weddings and corporate events involve more planning and a bigger setup than a house party
  • Room size & guest numbers — a larger room needs a bigger sound system (you are never charged per head, but the kit is sized to the space)
  • Lighting & extras — colour uplighting, a live saxophonist or a bigger light show are optional add-ons
  • Date — peak Saturdays and the December party season are in highest demand
  • Location — most of Greater Manchester is included; venues further out may add a small travel cost

A very cheap quote usually means an inexperienced DJ or basic equipment. The difference in price for a reliable, well-equipped professional who turns up and reads the room is normally small — and on the one night that matters, worth it.

How Booking Works

Simple, direct and clear from the first message.

  1. Tell us about your night

Send your date, venue and event type. We reply with availability and an exact all-in quote, usually the same day.

  2. Confirm your date

Happy with the quote? A deposit secures your DJ and date, with a written booking confirmation.

  3. Plan the details

Share your must-plays, do-not-plays and key moments through the online planner.

  4. We turn up and run it

We arrive early, set up, sound-check and look after the whole night. Balance settled before the event — no surprises.

Pricing Questions, Answered

The money questions people ask before booking a DJ in Manchester.

How much does it cost to hire a DJ in Manchester?

Most Manchester events fall between around £199 and £900. As a guide, party and birthday DJ hire starts from £199, wedding evening packages from £399, and corporate events from £449. You always get one all-in price for your date, hours and venue, with no per-guest charges and no surprise extras.

Why do some DJs cost more than others?

Price reflects experience, the quality and amount of equipment, how many hours you need, the size of the room and any extras like uplighting or a live saxophonist. A very cheap quote often means an inexperienced DJ or basic gear, while the price difference for a reliable, well-equipped professional is usually small.

Do you charge per guest?

No. We quote one fixed price for the whole booking, whether you have 30 guests or 300. The number of people does not change the price — only the hours, the room and any add-ons do.

Is a deposit required to book?

Yes — a deposit secures your date and your named DJ, and the balance is due before the event. You get a simple written booking confirmation so everything is clear from the start.
