Asian Wedding DJ Hire in Manchester

A specialist DJ for Manchester's South Asian celebrations — Bollywood, Bhangra, Punjabi and fusion across every function, from a daytime Mehndi to a packed reception floor. One DJ who understands the days, the music and the moments.

A DJ Who Knows the Music and the Days

A South Asian wedding is not one night — it is a series of functions, each with its own meaning, its own guests and its own feel. We have played Mehndis, Sangeets, civil ceremonies, Walimas and receptions across Greater Manchester, and we understand that the music that lifts a relaxed afternoon Mehndi is not the music that fills the floor at a late reception. We plan each event with you so the soundtrack fits the occasion.

You deal with us directly from the first message to the last song. There is no agency in the middle and no stranger turning up on the day — the DJ you plan with is the DJ who plays your celebration. That matters even more when the running order, the entrances and the family moments all need to land at exactly the right time.

The sound, your way

We are comfortable moving across Bollywood and Hindi film tracks, Bhangra and Punjabi, RnB, garage and house — and blending them into fusion sets that travel between Desi anthems and Western floor-fillers. You tell us the languages, artists and styles that matter to your families, and we read the room on the night so every generation finds something to dance to.

Every booking includes the kit and the care to do a big celebration justice:

A professional PA sound system sized to large banqueting halls and guest numbers
Colour and LED lighting to transform the room and match your theme
Wireless microphones for entrances, speeches and announcements
An online planner for your must-plays, languages and key family moments
Coordination of entrances, first dances and the baraat where you need it
Full setup and breakdown at each venue — never charged extra
Want to raise the energy further? We can work alongside a live dhol player for the entrances and peak moments, and add colour uplighting to transform a plain banqueting hall.

If you are planning a more Western-style evening too, take a look at our wedding DJ and DJ & Sax services.

Clear Per-Event Pricing & How It Works

Because Asian weddings span several functions, we price each event clearly so you only pay for the days you need. The deposit secures your dates, the balance is due before the celebration — no per-guest maths, no hidden extras.

Asian Wedding DJ Questions, Answered

The things families usually ask before booking an Asian wedding DJ in Manchester. If yours is not here, get in touch and we will reply within one working day.

How much is an Asian wedding DJ in Manchester?

An Asian wedding DJ in Manchester typically starts from around £499 per event, with the final price depending on the length of the celebration, the size of the banqueting hall and any extras such as colour and LED uplighting or a dhol player. Because Asian weddings often run across several functions, we price each event clearly so you can mix and match the days you need cover for.

Do you play Bollywood, Bhangra and fusion?

Yes. We cover the full range you would expect at a South Asian celebration — Bollywood and Hindi film tracks, Bhangra and Punjabi, RnB, garage and house — and we are comfortable blending them into fusion sets that move between Desi anthems and Western floor-fillers. You tell us the balance you want and which languages and artists matter most, and we build the night around your taste and your guests.

Can you cover multiple events like the Mehndi and Walima?

Absolutely. Asian weddings are rarely a single night, so we are set up to cover the whole celebration — Mehndi, Sangeet, civil ceremony, Walima and the main reception. Each function has its own mood, from a relaxed daytime Mehndi to a high-energy reception, and we plan the music and lighting for each one with you. We price additional events separately so you only pay for the days you book.

Can you work with a dhol player?

Yes. A live dhol player alongside the DJ set is a brilliant way to lift the baraat, entrances and key dance moments, and we are happy to work alongside one — either a dhol player you have already arranged or one we can help you source. We coordinate the timings and the sound so the live drumming and the DJ set complement each other rather than clash.

How far in advance should we book?

For Asian weddings we recommend booking as early as you can, ideally six to twelve months ahead, because the larger banqueting venues and prime weekend dates across Manchester, Bolton, Oldham and Bury are reserved well in advance. If your dates are sooner, still get in touch — we do take shorter-notice bookings when we have availability across your functions.
